Running Accomplishments:

I'm just a beginning runner now.  Had a great PE instructor long ago, in the foggy mist of junior high--that year my mile time went down from over 15 minutes to around 6.  But that was long ago.

Today, while I've been exercising regularly and controlling my eating for the past couple of years (and have lost around half of the fat I want to get rid of), I just started running again about two weeks ago.

My course is about 3.8 km long (courtesy of Google Maps), and I run in it about half an hour.

Short-Term Running Goals:

My present goal is to build up to running a complete half marathon (not necessarily as part of an organized race) by 14 Feb. '14.  If I can do it earlier than that, great.

Long-Term Running Goals:

I don't really have long-term running goals right now.  I want to be fit and healthy for many years, and that's really why I'm running.  Will I get involved in real competition in the future?  Well, maybe, but it's not part of my plan right now.

Personal:

I'm married, have four wonderful kids, live in Israel.  Do you live here, too, or are you planning to visit?  I'd love to meet you!
